Art Submission:
All art submitted to 123stickers to print from must be ready to print,
otherwise prep charges may be incurred and may result in delaying your
order. Common mistakes in submitted art and special considerations are
listed below.
Check your art carefully
before sending it to us. We
will not be responsible for reprinting, fixing, or refunding for any
stickers that are printed from customer files that are misprinted due
to the following:
Low Resolution:
Electronic art must be either a bitmap (TIF, JPG, etc.) at the final
size at 300 pixels/inch from one of the photo editing programs listed
above, or vector art from either Illustrator or CorelDRAW (see Submission
Guidelines).
Halftones and Gradations:
We do not suggest Standard stickers (250 to 1000) with any
halftones and/or shading. We will not be responsible for the resulting
stickers on any orders submitted with art containing halftones and shading.
Custom orders (1000 or more) can have halftones (please see Submission
Guidelines) but we will print your design (depending on complexity)
using up to 70 linescreen (less than newspaper quality photos). Custom
orders with 2 or more colors and containing halftones must be submitted
with the colors on separate layers.
No Margins:
There must be 3/16" to 1/4" (.1875 to .25 inches) inside margin
on all designs. Art submitted without margins, or designs that print
to the edge that need special preparation before printing will delay
your order. We will not be responsible for accuracy when trimming
your stickers if there is not a sufficient margin around your design.
(see Submission Guidelines)
Small Text, Thin
Fonts: Text should be greater than 6pt and with non-serif fonts.
In addition, thin lines in decorative and script style fonts may close
up due to on-press gain when the text is white on a solid black background.
We will not be held responsible for text that is printed illegibly
from fonts that are too small.
Tight Registration:
Designs without trapping and/or tight registration that need special
preparation will delay your order. (see Submission Guidelines) We
will not be held responsible for slight mis-registration if there is
not sufficient trapping.
Color Matching:
We will try to match your colors as closely as possible, but we cannot
be responsible for the final printed colors when exact PMS colors are
not specified when the order is placed. We cannot guess at the
color you may want or match colors to what we may see on screen. RGB
bitmaps may view differently on different computer systems and we suggest
a mailed color sample or specific Pantone spot colors whenever possible
for screenprinted stickers.
Digital stickers
are printed as CMYK, and your electronic art should be prepared
and color corrected for CMYK printing. This means that the color values
in your file should be checked against a Pantone process color guide
– especially for designs with blues and oranges.
We will not be responsible
for reprinting, or refunding for digital stickers printed from a customer’s
RGB files, or files that contain Pantone spot colors.
TIP:If you spot check values
in Photoshop, and see a “!” next to the color value, it
means that your color is “out of gamut” and that color cannot
be printed using CMYK or process color.
Proofs and Art Approval:
We will be happy to provide you with color composites or spot
color separation proofs at an additional cost (for preparation and mailing).
We can also e-mail a color composite or PDF of your job for approval
before printing, usually at no cost. All proof approvals must be in
writing: either emailed or faxed to us at 541-857-0130. No call-in art
approval.
There will be no reprints or refunds for any stickers that have
been printed from a customer approved proof. This includes: typographic
errors (misspelled text) made by either you or by 123stickers; margins
and bleeds; halftones, and low res art that has been changed to our
minimum 300 dpi resolution.
Art Charges:
You will be notified if preparation is needed and you may make the necessary
changes or alterations yourself and resubmit the art to us to avoid
art charges, otherwise production on your order will be suspended until
new art or authorization for art charges has been received by us. Art
submitted that requires extensive preparation by our art department
before printing will be charged at $65 an hour (depending on complexity),
with a 1 hour minimum charge.
Pre-press:
Any art that needs extensive preparation, trapping, color separations,
alterations, or re-creation by us will incur art charges and delay the
printing and delivery your order.
Post-press:
Any order requiring diecutting, laminating, or custom die fabrication,
will delay the delivery of your order by a minimum of 3working days
and will incur additional costs.
Stock Availability:
Most items in our catalog are available at all times, but special
stocks and substrates may require extra time for delivery to us before
printing your job which could delay your order going into scheduling
production. We will usually notify you at the time of ordering if there
will be any delays.
Turnaround &
Estimated Delivery: Our average turnaround and delivery is
estimated based on our normal production schedule. While we will try
to give you an estimated print and ship date at the time of your order,
this is an estimate only and is not guaranteed. As with any other printing
or manufacturing facility there are situations where we may have delays
including: pre-press art preparation and scheduling, mechanical breakdowns,
availability of stock and supplies, and post-press handling including
die-cutting, laminating, or special packaging. Please let us know of
your required delivery date at the time of the order and we will do
everything we can to meet your deadline.
123stickers will
not be held responsible or liable for missed deadlines due to situations
beyond our control and we will not upgrade shipping or pay for expedited
delivery due to production delays including proof approval, stock or
material delivery, die-cutting or die fabrication, mechanical breakdowns,
or shipping delays. 123stickers is NOT responsible for lost, stolen or damaged shipments or packages. If a package is lost, stolen or damaged in transit it is the customer's responsibility to make a claim with the carrier.

or concerns and make it right.
As
stated above, 123stickers cannot and will not be held responsible for
reprinting or refunding any for any jobs printed with art submitted
that is not "to spec", printed from approved proofs, missed
deadlines due to production delays, or problems with shipping and delivery.
Sorry, we do not offer cash refunds, checks or credits to credit cards.
Shipping charges will not be refunded.
